Barclays Bank in Frome has been holding an ‘egg-stra’ special fundraiser in support of local charity We Hear You this week and there’s still time to get involved.
Pop into the branch on Stony Street and purchase a strip of raffle tickets for just £1 and enter into the Easter raffle. There is an array of yummy eggs up for grabs and all funds raised will go towards supporting children and adults affected by cancer and other life-threatening conditions.
Helen Sprawson-White, assistant fundraiser at We Hear You said, “We are delighted and grateful that Barclays has chosen to support We Hear You once again. We have seen a large rise in referrals to our free counselling service this year and have had to introduce extra sessions to cope with the demand.
“The overwhelming support that the community has offered us has enabled us to keep waiting lists to a minimum. We are really grateful to everyone holding events such as this in support of our Mad March appeal.
