THE Ladies’ section at Orchardleigh Golf Club held their annual Christmas lunch and end of year prize giving on Tuesday 13th December at the clubhouse with more than 30 people in attendance.
A club spokesperson says, “Lin Handley organised a brilliant and fun quiz as the pre-lunch entertainment which put everyone in a festive party mood as one of the team quiz games was to guess the tipples.
“More than 30 ladies attended the two-course lunch which was organised by the retiring lady captain, Anne Carpenter. The new lady captain Loes de Kleuver thanked Anne for her year of hard work which contributed to the ladies’ section having a great year of golf. Anne then handed out the trophies to the 2022 winners assisted by Loes.”
