Frome Town Football Club will be offering more than quality football to the residents of Frome in the run up to Christmas; there will be laughter and music with a host of events which the people of Frome can support and enjoy.
On Saturday 26th November, Somerset based animal rescue centre Happy Landings Animal Shelter is hosting a James Bond themed black tie dinner and fundraiser entitled Happy Landings With Love. All proceeds from the night will support their BARK Appeal, helping to build new kennels at the shelter.
There will be three course meal, music from Frome based singer and DJ Tom Carpenter (as seen on BBC’s The Voice), casino and auction. There are a limited number of tickets left (£40 each or a table of 8 for £320) and can be purchased by calling 01749 860350.
On Saturday December 3rd, Frome Town play host to Frome’s first ever silent disco. Organised by Carpe Diem Entertainment Ltd, they will be offering a choice of music including 70’s / 80’s and Christmas cheese, 90’s & 00’s, or chart and club hits. Attendees will be given their own set of headphones and can choose which genre of music to listen to.

On Thursday December 15th, Frome Town are offering a cracking night of comedy and musical cabaret. There will be three different acts including Bill Smarme & The Bizness – self-styled international entertainer, love guru, connoisseur of fine marmalades, and building contractor, Bill sends up most styles of music and Nick Page – highly acclaimed story-telling comic who’s lived laughing from one disaster to another and is here to tell you all about it. One of the most well-travelled and experienced comedians, he’s in constant demand throughout the comedy circuit), and Frome’s very own Martin Dimery – musician, actor and Director of Frome Festival.
