Retired Police Sergeant, Graham Moxey, recently completed trekking the Inca Trail in Peru, the most famous trek in South America, raising £700 for the MS Society.
Graham, who lives in Frome and served in the Avon & Somerset Constabulary in both the Mendip and Bath and North East Somerset areas, has previously trekked to Everest Base Camp and climbed Kilimanjaro for charity.
Having completed the previous two treks with his daughter, on this occasion Graham was accompanied by his son Peter. His brother, Michael, who also served in the police suffers from MS.
Graham said, “I would like to say a big, big thank you to everyone who sponsored me on the trek which was shorter, tougher, but more spectacular than my previous two treks! The highlight was entering the Sun Gate to look down on Machu Picchu and seeing a condor soaring high up above – sheer magic!”
So far Graham has raised over £700 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Further contributions can be made by visiting Graham’s page at
