There’s still time to book a table for the annual Frome Festival Quiz, run as always by charismatic local quizmaster Paul Hewitt.
Come to compete for the prize for the winning table: four bottles of wine, donated by Leah Mercer of Divas Cafe, plus individual miniature shields to keep. Always a fun event but with a serious side, you’ll have the chance to pit your wits against past winners, The Flower Pot Men, The Chocolate Teapots, Fanny the Wonder Dog and the team from Monmouthshire who travel specially over the Severn Bridge to take part.
The evening will feature a grand raffle with prizes including a meal voucher from The Archangel, a truckle of cheese from Sagebury Cheese and a stunning plant from Barters Nurseries. Also, the Rugby Club bar stays open all evening.
Thursday 13th July, Frome Rugby Club, 7.30 – 10.30pm. £12.00 per table of four; tickets available from The Cheese and Grain Box Office.
