Frome Barnardo’s charity shops are helping the Teletubbies to keep youngsters entertained during the summer holidays whilst raising vital funds for vulnerable children at the same time.
The limited-edition range includes stickers, key rings, wristbands, headbands and pens featuring Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po and are available from the Barnardo’s shops in Forest Road Parade and the Kingsway Precinct.
The money raised will support some of the UK’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people.
Forest Parade store associate Kerry Hickmott (pictured) said, “We’re delighted to offer such a colourful and fun range of products featuring the lovable and iconic Teletubbies.
“One hundred per cent of the profits from these products will go to supporting and improving the lives of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK.
“By simply buying a key ring, stickers or headbands, you’ll not only impress the kids but will also make a huge difference to other children’s lives.”
Kerry added: “Of course, anyone wanting to pop in for a look may also want to use the opportunity to clear out their cupboards and wardrobes.
“We always welcome donations of good-quality clothes, books, toys, games, accessories and bric-a-brac, as well as offers of help from potential volunteers.”
The Barnardo’s store in Forest Road Parade is open Monday-Saturday from 9am-5pm while the Kingsway Precinct store is open Monday-Saturday 9am-5.30pm. Both stores are also open on Sundays from 10am-4pm.
