Frome Creative Collective are conjuring up an evening of uplifting comedy, thought-provoking entertainment and music with Chris Redmond, Liv Torc and the infamous HooDoos on Saturday 16th November.
Organiser Daniel Dobbie says, “We are lucky to have Chris Redmond and Liv Torc kicking off the evening with a selection of spoken word, comedy and song. Liv and Chris are two very well known poets co-hosting the Hop Yak poetry shack at Womad as well as winning loads of slams and spoken word competitions across the country. The fact they are willing to perform in their home town and give us a great show for a really good price is amazing!
“The HooDoos will then take to the stage with some great dance friendly funk, folk and bluegrass!
“We really hope people in and around Frome will support this event so we can put on more great value gigs in the future.”
The event will be held at Rye Bakery, Whittox Lane. Doors open at 6pm.
Daniel says, “Great veggie soup, salad and a selection of breads will be served from 6pm till 8pm. The show starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm.
“Please book your tickets in advance to support this event and guarantee your place at what promises to be a creative and uplifting evening.
“Children are welcome, but this is a concert. If you want to bring children please make sure they are reasonably quiet and under your supervision during the performances.”
