A record in sketches of the 2017 Frome Festival by Ann Harrison-Broninski are on display in the George Hotel, Frome, until the end of the month.
Ann has been drawing events and audiences from life at Frome Festival for several years. She works at speed using mainly charcoal and pencils and often adds colour afterwards. She likes to try and capture the moment and invest the drawings with a sense of movement and vitality.
Ann covers all sorts of festival activities to show the wealth and diversity of events on offer and of Frome life. This year’s drawings show events ranging from punk gigs to felting workshops. All works are for sale.
The exhibition runs until Tuesday 31st July at The George Hotel, 5 Market Place, Frome BA11 1AF. More information about Ann is available at annhb.com.
