FROME Community Hospital will be holding an open forum this month, to help local people get the most out of their health service.
The evening will run in the Moxon Suite at Frome Community Hospital on Monday 13th July, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
Matron at the hospital, Hayley Hughes said, “We really want people to share their thoughts, ideas and concerns so that we can learn, adapt and hopefully develop the best care for the people of Frome that is within our power at our hospital.
“We can also share clear and accurate information for the public so that people really understand the scope of provision at Frome Community Hospital.
“We’d like people to drop in any time, even if they only have five minutes to spare. This will be a relaxed, informal evening and we would like people’s ideas, comments, feedback, or just a chat, and for us to be able to share information about the hospital and the services we provide.
“This could also be an opportunity for people to become a member of the Friends of Frome Hospital, to join as a volunteer at the hospital or to find out about other support services in the local area.
“If the evening is well attended and of value to the community, we intend to hold these forums regularly.”
Present will be matron Hayley Hughes, ward sister Ruth Diligent, lead nurse Aly Rees, GP Tina Merry, and Peter Smith of Friends of Frome Hospital.
