Book lovers are invited to share their passion for reading by taking part in the Somerset Big Read.
Somerset County Council’s Library Services are now running the county-wide initiative to encourage adults to read, review and discuss books.
The first Somerset Big Read is ‘The Gallery Of Vanished Husbands’, the latest novel by author Natasha Solomons, who will visit Frome Library to give a talk on Thursday 27th November at 3.00pm.
Readers are encouraged to share their thoughts by writing a review, either using forms available in libraries, tweeting their reviews on Twitter using the hashtag #SomBigRead or posting their review on Somerset Big Read Face book page.
Frome’s event is free but booking is strongly advised, as numbers are limited – in person, by emailing the library at frolib@somerset.gov.uk or by telephoning the Somerset Contact Centre: 0845 345 9177.
