The Lions are pleased to report that the sum of £283.50 was raised at the recent quiz night held at the Frome Rugby Club.
The winning team comprised, Alison Armstrong, Iva Stather, Anne Hardy & Bob Hiron, who scored 91 points. Runners up were Bill Savage, Steve Hill, Steve Fry, and Paul Ruddick with 90 points. The Picture Quiz winners were Sean McCabe, Shelley McCabe, Lorna Salmon and Steve Angell, scoring 22 points out of a possible 30.
All funds raised go towards the numerous local good causes that the Lions support and the funds were boosted this time following the generosity of the winners and runners up with a donation of their winnings.
