A FROME woman has set up a website to help people with anxiety. dsylexia and dyscalculia.
Josie Shillabeer set up www.whysoanxious.co.uk at the start of April after she started a blog whilst studying at Keele University after suffering from panic attacks. Josie was then approached by Frome Website Design to turn her blog into a website.
She said, “I developed the website to make people feel less alone and to help people recognise if they suffer from anxiety. dsylexia or dyscalculia. Dyslexia is a learning disability which affects sufferers ability to read and write while Dyscalculia is similar to dyslexia but it affects sufferers ability to learn maths.”
It is estimated one in 10 people in the UK are affected by dyslexia and 3-6% of the population are affected by dyscalculia, and it is estimated 40-50% dyslexics also suffer from dyslcalculia.
