FROME Town Football Club and its supporters have shown their support for Ukraine.

At their home game against Evesham United on Saturday 5th March, the club observed a ‘minute’s appreciation’ for all those fighting for their country and everyone that is looking to help. Mascots for the game, from Frome Town Youth FC Wildcats, also stood with the players on the pitch holding Ukraine flags.
Supporters were also encouraged to donate online to Frome Town Council’s twin town appeal, which is raising money to help support Ukrainian refugees in the Polish town of Rabka-Zdrój; and collection buckets collected hundreds of pounds.
In addition, the club has said that it will continue to showcase its support for Ukraine by wearing yellow shorts with their away strip for the remainder of the season.
