FROME Weavers, Spinners and Dyers say they are delighted to welcome you to their winter exhibition and sale as part of The Frome Independent Market on Sunday 5th December.
Their exhibition and sale will be at The Old Sunday School, Chapel Barton, off Catherine Hill, from 10am to 3pm.
They say, “The group is so pleased to be able to have an exhibition and sale this December. We look forward to seeing you and to show you a celebration of work created by members, including experimental weaving inspired by Frome’s architectural history. Come and see our beautiful handwoven textiles, maybe buy a gift or two and find information about our future courses, individual tuition and group membership.
“Following last winter’s lockdown, we opened our doors again in March, to familiar friends and new members alike. We love weaving and spinning, and meet regularly to explore and develop our craft in a bright, well equipped studio in Frome. We like to think we are helping to keep alive the rich weaving heritage of Frome.
“We have been busy! And what a joy to share physical space and inspiration, welcome new members and teach face-to-face real time courses in rigid heddle weaving, four shaft loom weaving, and spinning.
“We keenly welcome new members who will receive supportive tuition from one of our experienced members.”
