SAVE the date for ‘SLAV SPIRIT’ a heart-warming concert which celebrates the music of Eastern Europe and is raising funds for Ukrainian refugees.
All proceeds are going to the Disaster Emergency Committee, Voices of Children, a Ukrainian charity for children suffering the psychological trauma of war and Polish Humanitarian Action, currently working with Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
The concert takes place at Christ Church, Frome on Saturday 9th April at 7.30pm and will feature works by Dvorak, Chopin and Ukrainian composers for piano, piano duet, violin and song, with soprano Maria Danishvar, violin Matthew Taylor, piano Stephen Marquiss and Liz Kozlowski.
Doors open 7pm with pre-concert and interval refreshments available.
