The Frome Good Afternoon Choir will be joining together with choirs from Warminster, Westbury, Chippenham and Calne for a special free admission concert at Holy Trinity Church in Frome on Saturday 15th July at 7.30pm (doors open 7.00pm).
The evening will be led by Good Afternoon Choir leaders Matt Finch and Tanya Davidson with the choirs singing ‘music for everyone’. This is a free admission concert with a retiring collection supporting local charities.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and meet Matt or Tanya and the members of the choir,” said Jody Chorley from the Good Afternoon Choir. “It is going to be a great night of music so why not come along and find your voice!”
The Good Afternoon Choirs were started by Bath-based Grenville Jones 13 years ago and there are now 23 across the south west of England with over 900 members ‘Singing in the Afternoon’.
There are no auditions to join, and members of the Good Afternoon Choirs come from in and around their areas.
The Frome group meets every Monday afternoon from 2pm-4pm at Holy Trinity Church.
