A group of Home Education families in Frome are starting a LEGO club and need your help.
The children aged four-11 all live in Frome and the surrounding area and meet regularly for nature walks and bushcraft activities, and from February they will be meeting one morning a week to build LEGO, work as a team and learn together.
Jamie McDine, on behalf of the group said, “We are currently searching for a free community venue in Frome and raising funds to buy the bricks and would be very grateful for any donations, especially any old or unwanted LEGO that you may have laying around the loft, or accidentally keep stepping on!
“We encourage a very child led approach to learning and LEGO is a perfect tool for the children to explore their imagination, increase building skills, as well as the social and storytelling side of their creations.”
The group will be free and the children will be supported by parents and volunteers.
