CHESTER House Social Club’s in form snooker league player Richard Pang reached the final of the latest snooker event to play Mark Philipps. This was a repeat of a previous final in which Richard lost; however, he got his revenge this time with a convincing win over Mark.
It was another successful evening with 14 members participating. The usual round robin format was played on each table and the table winners on the night were Richard Pang (Table 1), Derek White (Table 2), David Henson (Table 3) and Mark Philipps (Table 4).
The club says, “Thanks go to all those taking part, and to Annie Scane for another delicious hot cottage pie supper. These nights are very popular and all members are welcome to join us at the next event. Handicaps are used to make the evening more enjoyable for players of all abilities.”

Chester House Social Club can be found at Christchurch Street West, Frome. The club welcomes new snooker players and makes use of the four full-size snooker tables available.
