THE Inner Wheel Club of Frome raised £1,500 for charity at a fashion show held last month.
The money raised will go to the national charity Papyrus, which is dedicated to the prevention of young suicide.
President Gill Barnes said, “We had a really very successful evening with a full house at the Frome Memorial Theatre assembly rooms with fashions supplied by M & Co, based in Frome and Warminster.
“There were 30 models who strutted the catwalk like pros, and gave everyone a very entertaining two hours of fun and laughter.
“Sabine Allen the manager at M & Co in Warminster was MC for the evening, and did a splendid job.
“We raised £1,500 for Papyrus and trustees of the charity, Lynne and Don Hart, attended the event. Don spoke to the audience briefly about the charity and what they do.
“Altogether it was a really fantastic evening and the Inner Wheel Club of Frome would like to thank all the people who supported it, because without their help we would never have raised all that money.”
