FROME Inner Wheel Club hosted a carol service and nativity earlier this month to mark the start of Advent.
The organisation’s District 20, which covers parts of Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset, held the service at the Wesley Methodist Church.
The Service took the form of carols and Bible readings with the Frome club performing a short nativity.
Reverend Marie Attwood officiated at the service, with district chairman Kate Lewis giving an address to the congregation.
As members left the chapel there was an exiting collection, the proceeds of which are to be split between Young Carers and The Wesley Methodist Heritage Organ Fund.
The service was followed by coffee and mince pies when members mingled and a raffle was held and drawn to further boost the collection.
