The Godfather of British Blues is set to play the Cheese & Grain in Frome with his band on Saturday 28th October.
Back by popular demand following his sensational sell-out show in 2014, he has always surrounded himself with the cream of musicians including such luminaries as Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Mick Taylor, Peter Green, John McVie, Jon Hiseman, Paul Butterfield, Walter Trout, Chris Barber etc.
Support comes from the highly acclaimed Buddy Whittington Band. Incendiary Texan axe man Buddy was the longest serving Bluesbreakers guitarist and is widely regarded as one of the all-time greats.
Other 2017 highlights at the venue include Baka Beyond, Bay City Rollers, Grateful Dead, Huey Morgan, Shakatak, Sham 69, Snakecharmer, Tinariwen, Wishbone Ash and with the likes of David Rodigan, Joan Armatrading, Ian Hunter, Leo Sayer, Lulu, Roger Chapman’s Family, Suzi Quatro & Wildhearts all in the pipeline, it’s music to the ears of Cheese & Grain gig goers!
