Cyclists are encouraged to continue using their bikes throughout the winter with the support of Frome Com-munity Bike Project.
The project runs a bike recycling workshop at Station Approach as well as group bike rides. With new opening hours at their workshop and an e-cargo bike service, the team are dedicated to keeping residents on their bikes.
A member of the bike project, Jenna said, “The professional mechanics at the workshop can help advise and fit those soggy season essentials, mudguards and lights and kit cyclists out with high-vis equipment to increase visibility on the roads.”

E-cargo bike service
The project’s experienced mechanics can give your e-cargo bike a free professional inspection and after a thorough assessment, will advise if any further action needs to be taken.
Jenna said, “These workhorses of the bicycle world are very popular with both businesses and families in Frome and need to be safe and reliable. If needed, an e-cargo bike general service is £95.”

Dr Bike at the Cobble Wobble
Frome Community Bike project’s, Dr Bike, will be at the Cobble Wobble on Sunday 23rd November, offering free cycling advice and bike maintenance tips. Jenna said, “Take your bike along for a check-up even if you’re not taking part in the event.”
All profits from Frome Community Bike Project go to Frome’s Missing Links, a local charity working to link up traffic-free routes in and around Frome. More information on the charity and how you can support them can be found on their website, fromesmissinglinks.org.uk.
