LOCAL volunteer, Felipe Ieder, is running a children’s club in Frome providing a safe environment to play, interact and learn about technology.
The children will have the opportunity to have hands-on experience, sparking curiosity and willingness to familiarise themselves with some core concepts of the internet like browsers, HTML and CSS.
Anyone between the ages of seven and 17 is encouraged to explore programming languages, to make mistakes and more importantly, to have fun along the learning journey!
It is free to register for this event however a small donation to cover costs would be appreciated. The next coding club will be in the afternoon of Saturday 2nd December at The Welsh Mill Hub in Frome and will continue on the first Saturday of every month. Please bring along your laptop, and also a parent or guardian.
