TO mark the 60th year of the Frome Ladies Club, chairperson Liz Curtis, presented a cheque to Sophie Addison, lead headteacher of Critchill School, Frome. The money was used to purchase the outdoor blackboard for their new sensory garden.
Liz Curtis said, “Each year, the club has donated to a chosen charity. In this, our 60th year, we chose the new sensory garden at Critchill School, as children’s welfare has always been at the heart of the club. The blackboard they purchased with our cheque, along with other equipment in this garden, has created a lovely quiet space that will give so much joy and pleasure to the special children that attend Critchill.”
