Frome Lions are staging a new event – the Ride Kids Ride at the old showground, Frome, on Sunday 8th September between 12.30 and 16.30.
Children are invited to come along with family and friends and see how many laps they can complete in 30 minutes riding their bicycles, scooters or skateboards.
There will be laps in two distances round the show-field. A shorter one around the football field, suitable for primary school age, and a longer one around the whole field, suitable for middle school age.
The entry fee is £2 per child and every participant will receive a medal. There will also be a free raffle with a chance to win a bike and helmet, plus one year’s maintenance, which has been generously donated by Halfords.
During the afternoon refreshments and a barbecue will be available.
