FROME Lions have had to change the date of their annual summer fete, which was due to take place at Victoria Park on 17th July, as a result of the Government extending their Covid-19 regulations until 19th July.
Lion Mike Geake explains, “The fete will now take place on Saturday 7th August subject to no further restrictions being imposed.
“The Lions apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our loyal supporters but we have had no choice in the matter.
“If there are any organisations/charities who would like to attend there is still time to do so as we have extended the closing date for booking pitches until 17th July.
