LOCAL artist, Philip Ledbury has donated a painting to Frome Community Hospital for a silent auction.
Philip has been painting for twenty years, but professionally for 10. Bids will be taken for his original painting ‘Friends’ until Monday 22nd August and the winner will be notified on 23th August (min £50).
Philip said, “I like to think of myself as a colourist as I love colour. I have a book of ideas in my head; most of them will not come to fruition owing to time or money.
“I was diagnosed with leukaemia ten years ago and given a term of three to five years, I am sure the secret of my longevity is art and the NHS”
