AVANTI Park School in Frome has been rated a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted with several outstanding features.
Inspectors praised the school’s commitment to high expectations and individualised support and commented on the rapid improvements in pupils’ achievements across various areas of the curriculum.
The inspection report highlights the warm and friendly relationships which form the foundation of a calm and joyful school. Inspectors were impressed by pupils’ exemplary behaviour and the fact that attendance rates have significantly improved, reflecting pupils’ enjoyment and sense of safety at the school.
The principal of the school, Abby Atkins, says she is particularly pleased that inspectors recognised how the school’s leaders have implemented substantial improvements and that pupils and parents attested to the remarkable transformation undergone by the school in recent years.
