SIX valiant Frome runners took on the challenge of the London Marathon, on Sunday 2nd October. The weather was kind for long distance running and the crowds were out in full force.
A club spokesperson said, “Thanks to the wonders of technology, we were able to follow them live which was hugely exciting for us all back in Somerset. We are so proud of all our runners, they all ran brilliantly well and all six finished this gruelling course, raising a huge amount of money for charity in the process. Well done to every single participant.”
Their finishing times are: Ben Lathbury 3:50:34; Ellie Burford 3:56:06; Victoria Penman 4:03:02; Ben Spicer 4:40:41; Chris Dayman-Johns 4:43:10; Lucy Gaffney 4:57:50.
