Monday 12th February is ‘Love Night’ at the Frome Poetry Cafe, with two special guest poets; Frome’s own Rosie Jackson, whose superb and sensuous poetry is always immensely popular, and a debut spot for Josephine Corcoran from Trowbridge, whose delightful poems are also much-published and widely admired.
Crysse Morrison of Frome Poetry Cafe said, “There will be the usual open mic session, when we welcome a poem from everyone in the audience who has one to share – and Hunting Raven Books are providing a Valentine gift for one chosen reader!
“The venue is The Garden Cafe in Stony Street, and readings start at 7.30pm. Entry is £2 at the counter, where you can also buy snacks and drinks, and early arrival is recommended to be sure of a seat!
