THERE is something for everyone at the Merlin Theatre over the coming weeks.
The Tri-Art Theatre School’s dance and drama students showcase their work with a performance on Saturday 7th June at 7.00 pm.
Visiting Flamenco company Jaleo present ‘A Compas’ on Tuesday 10th June at 7.45pm. ‘A Compas’ means ‘In rhythm’ and the show charts a musical journey through the flamenco regions of Andalusia in a scintillating fusion of vocals, dance and guitar. Tickets are £18, children and concessions £15.
Frome Film Club present ‘Berberian Sound Studio’ on Thursday 12th June at 8.00pm, a black comedy directed by Peter Strickland. Cert 15. Tickets to non members £6.
Following the successful launch of the Merlin’s National Theatre Live initiative with a sell-out encore showing of ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’, the season continues with the NT production of Alan Ayckbourn’s prize-winning comedy ‘A Small Family Business’ on Friday 13th June at 7.00pm. Tickets are £15, concessions £10.
On Thursday 19th and Friday 20th June, Warminster School players bring ‘The Mouse and his Child’, an adaptation by Tamsin Oglesby of Russell Hoban’s much-loved children’s book to the Merlin stage. Suitable for six years plus. Tickets £7.50 and £5.
