Two more groups of pupils from Oakfield Academy have received Bikeability training from instructors at Somerset County Council’s Road Safety Team.
The training, which took place in school, on Critchill estate, culminated with the children confidently cycling around the Sainsbury’s roundabout. The second of the two courses coincided with the mini heatwave that bathed Frome in sunshine. All of the pupils thoroughly enjoyed the course and Oakfield would like to say a big thank you to the parents who volunteered to make the courses possible.
Janet Crabb one of the instructors said, “It was lovely working with you all, thank you as ever for the warm welcome. The children were very well behaved, a credit to your school.”.
