COMEDIAN Ed Byrne, a Prince tribute act, Walter Trout and much more adds up to quite a line-up at the Cheese and Grain in the coming weeks.
Coming up are…
Walter Trout with support from the Danielle Nicole Band, will be at the venue on Friday 21st January.
Walter Trout’s backstory is a page-turner you won’t want to put down. Five decades in the making; it is equal parts thriller, romance, suspense and horror.
There are musical fireworks, critical acclaim and fists-aloft triumph, offset by wilderness years and brushes with the jaws of narcotic oblivion.
There are feted early stints as gunslinger in bands from John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers to Canned Heat, and the solo career that’s still blazing a quarter-century later. The veteran bluesman has seen and done it all – plays earth shattering blues rock music.
Rescheduled from May 2021, SAS leader and sniper, Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham, will be at the Cheese and Grain on Wednesday 26th January.
Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham is TV’s most experienced, highest ranking and most decorated SAS leader and sniper.
Billy is a former SAS Sergeant Major Class 1 and bodyguard to the stars including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Russell Crowe, Sir Michael Caine, Tom Cruise and many others.
The evening is hosted and produced by Endurance (Running) World Record Breaker Mark Llewhellin. There will also be a Q & A and a chance to meet Billy.
On Friday 28th January, definitive Prince tribute band, New Purple Celebration, will be performing.
Celebrating the music, life and legacy of a true musical legend, New Purple Celebration deliver a non-stop, high-energy show spanning more than two hours. Described as “nothing short of a huge party”!
Prepare to be immersed in the music, as Jimi and the band take you on a journey through hits and hidden gems from deeper into the songbook of one of the most prolific artists of all time!
1999, Little Red Corvette, Purple Rain, Kiss, Nothing Compares 2 U, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Musicology and so many more.
This is a ‘tribute’ show like no other! Focussing on the power of Prince’s music and the atmosphere of his concerts, it is the show all the Prince ‘fans’ want to see! With such a wealth of songs to choose from, no two shows are the same.
A full nine-piece band, New Purple Celebration have been together since 2004 and toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe and are made up of a group of experienced musicians, performing together because of their mutual respect and love for the music of Prince.
