A NEW book club for young adults has launched in Frome.
The club, for 16-25 year-olds, meets on the third Thursday of the month, from 7pm, at the Bridge Cafe, Selwood Road.
The team behind the new ‘1625bookclub’ say that all are welcome to enjoy the relaxed and friendly space to share an enjoyment of books with others the same age.
Members of the club get to read new books before they hit the shelves.
“Share with the group what you thought about the book – your opinion/thoughts, unpressured, and no-one HAS to speak,” say organisers.
“Choose your book at 1625bookclub, or from Hunting Raven Books, Cheap Street – £3.50 gets you a brand new proof book, a cookie and a can of drink.
“Check out Instagram 1625bookclub or message Elizabeth on 07516888058 to find out more.”
