FROME Chamber of Commerce and Edventure Frome are hosting another of their popular business events at Mells Garden Café, on Wednesday 10th May from 6pm to 7.30pm and they are inviting new and established small businesses and start-ups to attend.
Following the success of last month’s business breakfast meeting at the Welsh Mill Hub, the chamber and Edventure team say they are delighted to have these events up and running to provide a forum for networking, discussing current issues and sharing resources and insights for all levels of business owners from sole traders and company managers to retailers and anyone else running a business. There will also be a guest speaker and refreshments.
Andy Palmer, president of Frome Chamber of Commerce, said, “Joining Frome and District Chamber of Commerce is way to become more engaged with other local businesses, which we see as a benefit to the whole business community. Through these types of events, we hope to encourage both visitors and our members to meet and get to know other local businesses; in order to spread best practice, educate each one another and hopefully form lasting business relationships.”
The Chamber, along with Somerset Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting a Business Breakfast event on Thursday 6th July from 8am to 10am at the Standerwick Centre which will be an opportunity to bring a wider community together to discuss topical financial issues. Information about this event as well as training event and much more can be found on the Frome Chamber website – www.fromechamber.com.
