Oakfield Academy had cause to celebrate recently, after a visit from HMI, Steffi Penny.
The visit outcome was that Oakfield has implemented rapid change, in response to the last Ofsted report. Therefore, there will be no further visit required until the next routine inspection.
To accommodate an increase in admissions, the academy has recruited seven new members of staff: Vikki Elloway, Mary Roynon, Jon Farrell, Nick Ward and Ruth Hull to the KS2 team. The school also welcomes Alison Mander and Phillippa Nightingale who have joined to teach KS3 Maths and Design Technology.
