Residents of Frome and the surrounding area now have a new support group for people affected by strokes.
Every year there are approximately 152,000 strokes in the UK. The new support group aims to be a place where people can meet and share experiences, support one another and talk to visiting organisations and speakers.
Family members, friends and carers are also welcome to join this friendly new group. The group is being supported by Health Connections Mendip and the local Stroke Association.
Do come along and become part of the group – your ideas and thoughts can help shape how this group is run in the future.
