Oakfield elects new school council

Oakfield Academy has appointed a new team of eight budding politicians to act as a ‘pupil voice’.

Dominic Evans, Maya Barlow, Megan Byne, Jessica Young, Reuben Davis-Black, Harrison Fleetwood, Abi Murphy and Samuel Fordham will all be representing their peers at regular meetings with staff and governors.

The school’s Dawn Warren said, “The children are all looking forward to this challenging role and hope to have useful suggestions for improving their school environment.”
