Oakfield Academy’s Edie Ray and Tara Whitelaw achieved first and second places in the Frome Rotary poster competition.
Evie won a £30 voucher and Tara a £20 voucher, for Studio Prints in Frome. Their designs will be used to promote the free fireworks display, which is taking place at the Old Showground on the 3rd November.
Visiting the academy to announce their achievements was Becky Bird from Frome Town Council. Both girls will be presented with their prizes by Frome’s Mayor at the fireworks display.
