FROME’S Merlin Theatre will screen Harold Pinter’s ‘No Man’s Land’ live from the West End later this month.
Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart star in the comic classic, which will be screened live from London’s Wyndham’s Theatre on Thursday 15th December from 7pm.
One summer’s evening two ageing writers, Hirst and Spooner, meet in a Hampstead pub and continue their drinking into the night at Hirst’s stately house nearby. As the pair become increasingly inebriated, and their stories increasingly unbelievable, the lively conversation soon turns into a revealing power game, further complicated by the return home of two sinister younger men.
The revival of Pinter’s classic will be followed by the broadcast of an exclusive Q&A with the cast and director Sean Mathias.
Tickets cost £16 per adult, £10.50 concessions. The play is a certificate 15 and runs for approximately 150 minutes.
