Members of Frome Canoe Club had some fun dressing up for a watery tug-of-war.
Pirates and princesses challenged each other in a knock out competition, all executed in canoes.
Organiser Pam Dixon said, “This event was quite different from our normal Sunday morning canoe and kayak sessions. Everyone
had a great deal of fun on the day and of course it ended with a mass sinking session, which the young people thoroughly enjoyed!”
On the strength of the success of this event Frome Canoe Club is organising a ‘Dusk Halloween Paddle’ at the clubhouse in Market Yard (next to the Cheese & Grain) on Wednesday 30th October at 6.00pm. Spectators are welcome to come and watch.
