The Charity Plant Sale, held at Wesley Methodist Church Frome on Saturday 18th May, raised a record-breaking £750 to be shared between international charity Action Aid and Church Funds.
Christine Milne for Wesley Church said, “The plant tables were virtually empty within an hour and a half, testament to the quality of the produce on offer, and the organisers apologise to those who came late.
“In addition to this amazing total, £250 was raised for Methodist Homes from the sale of refreshments, books and bric-a-brac. The organisers would like to thank all who supported the event and are already making plans for next year.”
