CHILDREN in Year 4 at St John’s C of E School went on a three-day residential trip to Kilve just before Easter.
“This annual trip to Kilve Court in West Somerset is a learning experience beyond the classroom like no other, as the children take part in educational, fun activities that wouldn’t happen on a normal day at school,” said a spokesperson for the school.
“This year, they went beach fossil hunting, grass sledging, hill walking, abseiling, den building and stream walking, making lifelong memories as they approach their final term at St John’s.
“Year 4 staff say every year that this amazing trip brings out the very best in the children, helping them learn to work together, to persevere, and to build confidence, resilience and independence in preparation for middle school in September.”
