A clean of the River Frome will be held next Sunday, 21st October.
Organisers say, “This is a river clean of the River Frome in line with the Surfers Against Sewage beach/river clean series, supported by Plastic Free Frome.
“The is in addition to the Friends of the River Frome clean, but hope to have some overlap.
“Litter pickers and big bags supplied (do feel free to bring own if you have your own), just wear sensible clothing.
“We’ll meet in the Cheese & Grain/Justice Lane car park and spread along the river bed in either direction – how far depending on numbers attending. All welcome so please pass on the invite!”
The river clean takes place on Sunday 21st October at 2pm until 4pm.
