SCHOOLS across Frome celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March with pupils (and staff) dressing up as their favourite book characters.
Schools taking part included St Louis Catholic Primary School, Critchill School, Vallis First School, St John’s First School, Trinity First School and Oakfield Academy.
Headteacher at Trinity First School, Amanda Seager, said, “The children at Trinity First School have had an amazing week celebrating books! They have had fantastic workshops with local illustrator Jenna Herman, they have visited brilliant Hunting Raven to exchange their tokens for a new book each and they made wonderful stick puppets of the favourite characters from their favourite books. The school has been full of exciting chatter about books and we have all loved it!”
