Multi-award winning Scottish fiddlers, Blazin’ Fiddles make their first ever visit to the Cheese & Grain as part of the Frome Festival next month.
For the last 20 years Blazin’ Fiddles have brought their unique brand of infectious and irresistible euphoria to audiences across the globe, making them firm festival favourites with their glorious sound, augmented by wonderful keyboard and guitar accompaniment.
Organisers said, “No other band captures Scottish fiddle music’s variety, sensitivity and energy like this amazing band.
“Like a rare single malt, each member draws the distinct flavour from their particular part of the Highlands and Islands, coming together in a fiery blend to excite the senses.
“They manage to combine everything there is to enjoy in their music – gently soothing melodies and the stirring sensational sound of multiple fiddles in harmony.
“Their dynamism and enjoyment are truly infectious, creating exhilarating and memorable performances that come from a passion for their music and a longing to share it.
“Whatever the hall – be it the Royal Albert or a small Highland village – this band never fails to set the hearts of audiences alight.
“There’ll be dancing in the aisles to the music of the Isles!”
