THE time is fast approaching for green-fingered Frome residents to start thinking about entering Frome in Bloom’s annual competition.
Entry forms can be found at the town hall, the library, the Cheese and Grain, and from committee members. The theme this year is the Coronation.
Organisers say, “It is that time of the year when members of Frome in Bloom committee are busy compiling the details of our annual gardens competition. There will be plenty of scope for everyone, from a single basket of flowers to a large garden or maybe even an allotment.
“There are classes for children including a wildlife garden, also a separate natural and wildlife garden for adults, and many other categories – 31 in all! We would love to see more shops entering a window display this year. Entry forms can also be picked up at the plant sale which is at the Cheese and Grain on Saturday 27th May. So please let’s all get growing and make Frome bloom this year!”
