FROME Town Crier Mike Bishop, and his wife Angie, wish all their supporters a very warm Happy New Year.
Mike said, “Whilst I am busy making yet another new set of regalia for the 2017 town crier competition circuit, myself, Angie and our hard-working committee are all geared up for our fundraising.
“The first event of the year was a bingo on the 12th of this month, and we will next be holding a quiz night on the 10th February at Frome Cricket Club at 7.30pm for 8pm starts.
“All funds that are raised will go towards running this year’s 11th Town Crier Festival on the 17th June. Please come along and have fun with me and the gang and help us put on what has become a much loved event in the Frome calendar.”
