THE Mayor of Frome, cllr Dickon Moore, has praised staff at Frome Hospital after falling from his bicycle and fracturing his wrist.
The incident happened in the morning of Wednesday 2nd October on his way to work at Farleigh Hungerford Castle.
Now in a plaster cast, cllr Moore says, “The medical staff at Frome hospital have been fantastic. I was so impressed by the efficiency of the service, quality of treatment, and particularly the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I especially have to thank Andy and Matt for their care”
After hitting a branch that was in the road, the mayor fell off his bicycle near Lullington, just outside Frome. Before long, an x-ray had been taken and he was told that he had fractured the scaphoid bone in his wrist. He will be continuing his mayoral duties with plaster cast in tow.
