The Frome Medical Practice has announced the appointment of two new GPs joining them at the Enos Way surgery.
Dr Neha Bhagi undertook her medical training at Birmingham University and more recently has worked as a doctor in both Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. She has also had a spell working for the World Health Organisation in Delhi. Dr Bhagi and her young family have recently moved to the West Country and she is delighted to now be working at the Frome Medical Practice.
“I am fortunate that from a very young age I knew that I wanted to be a doctor,” says Dr Bhagi. “As a recently qualified GP, this is really a fantastic opportunity for me, working in such a busy practice. All of my new colleagues have been incredibly supportive and friendly. My brand new patients have also been equally as welcoming.”
Joining Dr Bhagi is fellow new GP at the practice Dr Vicky Potter. Dr Potter attended Edinburgh University before completing her medical training in Brighton. Prior to eventually practising as an actual GP in Brighton, Dr Potter also worked abroad, in her case in Australia. Dr Potter now lives just outside Frome and is equally delighted to be working at the Frome Medical Practice.
“From day one, everyone here has made me feel very much at home,” says Dr Potter. “It is a great building to work in and the practice is extremely innovative in its whole approach to primary care medicine. As a GP, it is a real positive to be encouraged to continue my professional interest advising on matters relating to women’s health.”
The senior partner at the practice is Dr Helen Kingston who said, “As a practice, we are currently working hard on making key new appointments of GPs, clinicians and others to ensure that our patients have a local GP surgery that really is second to none. In the meantime, we are all extremely pleased that both Dr Bhagi and Dr Potter have chosen to join us. We wish them both a very successful and happy career here at Enos Way.”
